Thank You for Your Engagement

Thank you for visiting Eugene Residents for Energy Choice. On April 5, the Eugene City Council decided to let voters have their say and sent the referendum on the natural gas ban in new low-rise residential construction to the November 7 ballot.

This was a direct result of residents’ advocacy. On March 9, we submitted 12,262 petition signatures to the Lane County Elections office, nearly 6,000 more than the number needed to put the natural gas ban on the ballot. THANK YOU to everyone who came out to one of our locations to sign, as well as the many volunteers who helped collect signatures from your neighbors!
